Lovely! I've made a lot of stabs at a photo like this one and never managed to pull it off. I think I probably don't crawl around on the ground enough to know where the good low angle vistas are.

Wow ~ Your photos really are awesome!! I'm still learing and would like to know if you do anyhing in particular to get such vibrant colors ~ saturation?. Also, why does the depth of field look so short in this photo for an Fstop of 16?

Thanks a lot!
I´using selective color... To enhance different colors in the image. When using a camera with that big sensor as the 1Ds has. A lot off light hits the sensor although you have a small aperture. Especially easy to get a short DOF when you are close to the object.
